Frankie Goes Ballistic

BRAND NEW GDevelop Version, built from SCRATCH in less than 9 days.  All art made by me, except for the towers and the original form of the houses - thanks to a couple of Gif's wonderful assets for those things. All programming of GDevelop done by me also :D 

Conceived as though it were being made for the classic Sega Master System - MAKE SURE YOU PLAY IN FULLSCREEN FOR BEST EXPERIENCE, as the resolution settings are faithful to the MSX.

- The Villagers aren't brave, but they can find their courage so watch out - if Frankie stands still, they may back off, cos he's scary, right? BUT that will give time for the Fire Chuckers to...chuck fire ;) 

- So don't stand around too much - use your Big, Green Frankie Balls to smash your way through the village, take down the houses and walls (where you can) and stay reanimated as long as you can!

If the mob gets close they will inflict damage - as will fire!!

Apologies for the fact I ran out of time to put the "OW I'VE BEEN HIT" anims in, but Frankie makes a godawful sound when he's hit.

ALSO - game end condition isn't ideal at the moment - just goes back to menu :'D Again, sorry for that - ran out of time!!

Have full game planned out with 7 levels and a plot (to save the Doc), with proper winning conditions- also LOADS of other enemies, bosses and cool stuff in development. 

Ran out of time for the GDev game jam to implement those, so please enjoy this Demo and let me know what you think :D

The villagers have found out about us and aren't too happy. They're heading up to our castle now.  By the time you read this, I fear they have taken me and imprisoned me on the other side of the village.

You need to GO BALLISTIC and let them know who is the king of the castle around here.

Remember, a LEFT CLICK and they'll feel the green heat of your FRANKIE BALLS OF FURY...you know, that improbable yet overpowered ability I bestowed you with.

Kill the villagers, and come and find me...(in the finished game, not this initial version which I made in 9 days...ahem...)
